Technology Works incorporated, Web site launched: 

Technology Works was incorporated in January, 2005. David Wallach, President of the company has continued his relationship with HP as a business partner in the SMB channel. That means he can help small and medium businesses (especially non-profit organizations) leverage their IT budgets by arranging discounts, direct purchasing options and an individual SMB Account Manager. Benefits include a special web site, the best business class hardware in the industry and extended warranties for exceptional support.

David finally found the time to work on his own technology for a change. He redesigned his test site and launched this one. He did some paperwork and sent out a few invoices.

He also installed a LAN for his home office to connect a Windows 2000 Advanced Server with workstations and laptops running Windows XP, 2000, 98, 95 and NT. A small internet router connects the Cable modem for high speed internet access and acts as a firewall. All rooms are connected through the basement patch panel and a small network switch. All systems run at the fast Ethernet standard of 100 megabits per second.

David installed a wireless access point to share network and internet access with the laptops and secured it against intruders, hackers and his neighbors. He assumes they are as curious as he is.
